first day ___xx [o]

^{Kelly strolled through the halls of her new highschool. She always hated starting up at a new school, not really knowing anyone. Plus, the only thing she could think about was how she would be getting a new horse soon. Her long blonde hair and bright green eyes were her most noticable features. She looked around at the people huddled in the crowded halls. She looked around for her locker number, finding it she opened it, the cold metal buring her hands. She put her books inside, only keeping the first one titled, Chemistry, her very first class.}

^{Brooke and Jess walked through the halls confidentally, laughing and talking. They stopped at the lockers, looking over to Kelly with warm smiles. Brooke spoke first, "Hey there, are you new?" She asked, smiling as Jess waved, "I'm Jessica Ashton." She added, putting away a few books and turning down her ipod, standing by Brooke's side. Brooke messed with her long brown hair with one hand, leaning against the locker. "I'm Brooke Darcy." She introduced herself with easy confidence, looking at the girl once more. "And you are?"}

Mia and Becca walked into the new school. New people, new teachers, new everything. It was much bigger than their old school, and this year would be Becca's last, and Mia had two more to go after this. Mia waved to Becca, rounding the corner towards her new locker: 148. She put in her code, listening to the lock click open, revealing the empty locker. She shoved some books and binders into the locker, hanging her bag and fixing her mirror. She smiled, sighing, and grabbed her English book, heading down the hallway.

At about the same time, Becca was at her locker, fishing out her math book, and looking at her schedule, she wondered how long it would take the clock to pass the hours until she could go ride Theia.

Libby walked down the hall, nervous because she just transfered and wasnt used to everyone here yet. I looked down at my piece of paper it told me which locker was mine it had the number #150 on it. I walked the halls as quick as i could and found my locker then sat and worked on my combination lock, and placed my book bag in the locker but too my daily planner, my pencil/pen case, and some notebooks, since we didnt have any textbooks yet. I went and looked for my first class.

^{As Kelly was shoving her large, heavy books back into her locker, she heard a voice speaking to her behind her. She turned around to see two smiling and friendly girls looking at her. She smiled back, clutching her chemistry book to her chest and sweeping a blonde strand of hair back with the other hand. Hello! I'm Kelly, and yeah I'm new. Is it that obvious? She let out a soft laugh at this as she looked at both of the girls.

Another girl came up, opening the locker right next to her. Kelly smiled at her as well, knowing that because Kelly's locker was #147 they would be seeing a lot of each other this school year. Then another nice looking girl stopped by, fishing through a locker just down the line. Kelly wanted to say hello to them, but was still a little shy.}

_{Jess looked to Brooke, who looked back at her. the two shook their heads, Jess speaking first. "Not at all, but we sort of...know almost everyone here." She smiled casually, shutting her locker. Almost at the exact same time, both their phones went off. Brooke's ringtone was 'Acceptable in 80s' by Clavin Harris, and Jess' was 'That Boy That Girl' by Haouken!. The two took out their sidekicks and checked their messages, reading quickly and putting the phones away. "Anyway," Brooke smiled, "We've got chemistry next, how about you?"}

Mia looked at the girls beside her locker she turned to face them and said "Hey, my names Mia Lysencek, I'm new too. I overheard your conversation, hope you don't mind I join in! I have English next." She smiled and looked at the girls, they seemed nice and friendly, not like the other girls at her old school. The word 'cat fight' was written on their forehead.
